Fjord wool jacket

FJORD is made of a fairly thin and elastic material in 100% merino wool. The jacket is made from the same fabric as the popular "Stasch" wool vest. Unisex model. Although it does not have windproof fabric, it provides excellent insulation. FJORD is designed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts. The jacket is tailored over the shoulders with an incredibly good fit. It features raglan sleeves, an extended back, a high collar lined with soft, knitted merino wool, long sleeves with thumbholes, zippered side pockets, chest pockets with vertical zippers, and an attachment for a radio antenna. The FJORD wool jacket is the perfect choice when it is a bit chilly, indoors or outdoors – when you need a mid-layer that is not too thick or warm under a shell jacket or training vest – or when thick wool jackets (Grimsbu, Telemark, Frida) are too much to wear.

Regarding washing and cleaning of the FJORD jacket and other Canelana wool products:

• We recommend shaking and airing it out in fresh air for a couple of hours. Dirt usually does not penetrate the wool fibers but settles on the outside.

• When washing, we recommend machine washing on a wool cycle at 30 degrees Celsius with a dedicated wool detergent.

• Wool products should be washed separately for best results.

• Hand washing is preferably avoided as it can be difficult to regulate the temperature and remove soap residue and dirt compared to machine washing.

• Spin-drying also allows the wool fabric to dry faster and reduces conditions for bacterial growth.
