About washing and waterproofing:

We recommend washing with Nikwax Tech Wash, which is a non-detergent soap that can be used frequently to wash garments and equipment without damaging the waterproofing and membrane. Use this product instead of soaps containing detergents.

For waterproofing, we recommend Nikwax TX-Direct, which is intended for re-waterproofing all technical garments with membranes.
Use after the garment has been washed with Nikwax Tech Wash and after approximately every 3-4 washes. TX-Direct adds a water-repellent layer to the outer fabric, which is important for maintaining the garment's breathability in wet weather.
