Wool dog poncho

100% merino wool!

Square blanket in thick 100% merino wool, the same type of fabric as in, for example, the Grimsbu wool jacket and Ambassadør wool rug. Hole/slit for the head in the middle of the blanket in sizes 70/70 and 100/100. Size 140/140 has the hole placed 1/3-2/3 so that it is shorter in front and longer in the back. If you want size 140/140 with the hole in the middle, you will find this under products for 2-legged.

Instead of, or in addition to, a rug when the dog is lying down and needs to keep warm.

How to wash and care for a wool dog poncho?
The great advantage of wool is that it is in many ways self-cleaning and sustainable, but there are several things you should be aware of when washing and treating it.

• We recommend shaking and airing it outside in fresh air for a couple of hours. Dirt usually does not penetrate the wool fibers, but settles on the surface.

• When washing, we recommend machine washing on a wool program at 30 degrees with a special wool detergent.

• Wool products should be washed separately for best results.

• Preferably avoid hand washing, as it can be difficult to regulate the temperature and remove soap residues and dirt compared to machine washing.

• Spin-drying also helps the wool fabric dry faster and provides poorer conditions for bacterial growth.
