About washing and waterproofing:

We recommend washing with Nikwax Tech Wash, which is a non-solvent soap that can be used frequently for washing clothing and equipment without damaging the impregnation and membrane. Use this product instead of soaps that contain solvents.

For waterproofing, we recommend Nikwax TX-Direct, which is intended for re-waterproofing all technical garments with membranes.
Use after the garment has been washed with Nikwax Tech Wash and after approximately every 3rd–4th wash. TX-Direct adds a water-repellent layer to the outer fabric, which is important for maintaining the garment's breathability in wet weather.
