Canelana Lyng jacket

LYNG is a comfortable and functional jacket made from a thick, soft fabric with a membrane. The fabric is 3-layered: an impregnated polar fleece outer layer, a polyurethane membrane in the middle, and a polar fleece inner layer. The jacket is soft, warm, water-repellent, comfortable directly against the skin, silent, and durable. It features large, practical pockets on the front and back. Designed in collaboration with Peder Zeiner Christiansen. Available in 8 sizes; unisex 2XS-3XL. Size guide in a separate tab. About washing and re-impregnation:

We recommend washing with Nikwax Tech Wash, which is a non-solvent soap that can be used frequently for cleaning clothing and equipment without damaging the impregnation and membrane. Use this product instead of soaps containing solvents.

For re-impregnation, we recommend Nikwax TX-Direct, which is designed for re-impregnating all technical clothing with membranes.
Use after the garment has been washed with Nikwax Tech Wash and after approximately every 3rd-4th wash. TX-Direct adds a water-repellent coating to the outer fabric, which is important for maintaining the garment's breathability in wet weather.

How waterproof is the jacket? Feedback from Ralph Johannessen (Geilo) 2/11-22 when the jacket was new: "Walked for two hours in the terrain in drizzling rain today. Kept the water out - a little moisture at the neck, but insignificant."

Have used it in a lot of snow, both wet and dry. I did not get wet after a few hours in the snow. The snow is easy to brush off. The suit is incredibly warm!!
