A thermal dog coat with a merino wool lining, developed for sled dogs in collaboration with experienced mushers. Sandwich construction. The exterior is a wind- and water-repellent lightweight ripstop (similar to the outer fabric of lightweight down jackets), with a thin 100% merino wool felt layer in the middle and a perforated lining on the inside. Includes a gusset and adjustment on the inside rear to ensure the coat sits snugly over the back and thighs. Features an opening for a pulling harness. The coat has internal pockets for inserting heat packs over the shoulders, back, and hips for dogs that require heat therapy. This makes a shoulder-warming t-shirt unnecessary. There are no seams on the front; the seam is located on the back.
Weight: approx. 400 grams
Racing has a flap with neoprene inside, which protects against frostbite. The flap also protects against crosswinds. The neoprene in the flap prevents it from absorbing liquid.

Racing is also suitable for other active dogs/breeds; bird dogs and other working dogs—Racing is not just for sled dogs. The coat is windproof and water-repellent, but not waterproof; it will get wet in rainy weather. If you do not want the protective flap with neoprene, it is easy to cut off.
