The exterior is a wind- and water-repellent lightweight ripstop (similar to the outer fabric of lightweight down jackets), with a thin 100% merino wool felt layer in the middle and a perforated lining on the inside. Includes a gusset and adjustment on the inside rear to ensure the coat sits snugly over the back and thighs. Features an opening for a pulling harness. The coat has internal pockets for inserting heat packs over the shoulders, back, and hips for dogs that require heat therapy. This makes a shoulder-warming t-shirt unnecessary.
